White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday chastised Senate Democrats for their lack of support on border security, consisting of President Donald Trump’s border wall.
Sanders noted in a “Fox & Pals” look how the Mexico federal government has actually helped with unlawful immigration, calling it “an unfortunate day in America” when Mexico is more going to secure Americans than the Senate Democrats.
” We will do whatever we require to do and whatever we can do to assist the process. At this point, it’s up to the Senate,” Sanders said. “Something that I think has actually been missed out on and didn’t get a great deal of coverage the other day was what we have actually worked out, what this administration has actually been able to perform in conjunction with the Mexican federal government and the massive and monumental moment that happened yesterday where catch-and-release has ended.”
” It’s a sad day in America when Mexican government is doing more to protect the American people than Senate Democrats. I hope they will not let that be the case by the end of the day and they will deal with us and deal with the president and Senate Republicans to get this done and let everybody go home and let us begin constructing the wall and let us start securing our border,” she included.
