Previously Tuesday, President Trump revealed that he had fired Bolton and plans to call a successor next week.

” I notified John Bolton last night that his services are no longer required at the White Home,” the president tweeted. “I disagreed highly with numerous of his suggestions, as did others in the administration, and for that reason I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me today.
