The folks on the Outnumbered couch weighed in on President Trump knocking Michigan Rep. Justin Amash, who revealed Thursday that he was leaving the Republican politician Party.

In a Washington Post op-ed that was prompt published on Independence Day, the liberatarian and outspoken Trump critic, who formerly called for the president’s impeachment, described why no longer associates himself with the GOP.

” In current years, though, I’ve become disenchanted with celebration politics and terrified by what I see from it,” Amash composed. “The two-party system has developed into an existential threat to American principles and organizations.”

Trump celebrated Amash’s decision on Twitter, calling him ” among the dumbest & most disloyal men in Congress.”

” Excellent news for the Republican politician Party as one of the dumbest & most disloyal males in Congress is ‘quitting’ the Party,” Trump tweeted. ” No Collusion, No Blockage! Knew he could not get the nomination to run once again in the Great State of Michigan. Already being challenged for his seat. A total loser!”

Star Dean Cain, who was Friday’s “one fortunate person,” started by insisting that Amash “wasn’t precisely a Republican” which he would likely not make his celebration’s election due to an increasing opposition. He then pivoted to Trump’s tweet.

” That’s President Trump at his best and worst, if you will,” Cain told the panel, “because he states things like that and we were all responding to it because it’s how you would talk if we were being in the back having coffee and the video cameras weren’t on. … He says it like he thinks it and he puts it out there. And some people love him for it and some individuals hate him for it.”

Fox Nation’s Carly Shimkus said she wished the president would “keep away from tweets like this.” Fox News anchor Julie Banderas concurred.

” I do not like the word ‘loser.’ Ever,” Banderas said. “I would never enable my children to use it. I wouldn’t desire them hearing the president of the United States utilizing that word, either.”

Fox News contributor Kat Timpf told the panel that Amash’s “larger point is getting lost” in the discussion about the “disappointment with the two-party system.”

” I, too, am frustrated with the two-party system due to the fact that I” m not a Republican or a Democrat and I just do not comprehend why it is the method it is,” Timpf explained. “I mean, it’s just not real that each half of the population only believe in one set of views or the other set of views when truly there are boundless mixes possible.”

She continued, “What about just being totally free thinker and having independent thought? I imply, people care more about partisanship now than they care about truth and I believe that’s so incorrect.”

Dr. Nicole Saphier noted how Trump “utilized to be a Democrat” and recommended that he’s a “great leader” for cherry-picking policies from both sides of the aisle.
