Khan, who is London’s first Muslim mayor, likewise knocked Trump for distributing messages he views as racist on his Twitter page. Trump and Khan first butt heads in 2016 when Trump drifted the idea of banning Muslims from specific countries from taking a trip to the U.S.
” These individuals have been influenced by mainstream politicians who sign up for their perspective,” Khan told Politico. If I do not stand and call that out I think I’m doing an injustice to Londoners who chose me as their mayor.”
Trump announced Thursday in the White House rose garden that he was canceling his scheduled journey to Warsaw and instead would send out Vice President Mike Pence so he might remain in the United States to monitor the enhancing Typhoon Dorian.

He traveled by helicopter to his private Virginia golf club for several hours. White Home press secretary Stephanie Grisham said Trump traveled with a FEMA authorities and that he was being briefed “every hour.”
Trump and Khan last traded jabs in June throughout the president’s check out to the United Kingdom. Trump labeled Khan a “stone cold loser” when he first showed up to London. Khan responded by informing BBC that the president’s insults reminded him of “the sort of thing an 11- year-old would do.”

At a London interview with outbound U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, Trump also implicated Khan of doing a bad task as mayor by failing to resolve criminal activity and “a lot of problems” within his city. He criticized Khan and other left-wing activists for opposing his visit to the nation in the middle of Brexit settlements.
” I do not think he needs to be criticizing an agent of the United States that can do a lot helpful for the UK,” Trump informed reporters of Khan. “He’s an unfavorable force, not a positive force.”
