When the New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl on Sunday night with a 13 -3 defeat of the Los Angeles Rams, it was an enormous loss for haters of President Donald Trump– an ardent advocate of the Patriots and their quarterback Tom Brady.
Tom Brady wins his 6th Super Bowl ring comes at 41 years old, and the media and other critics of Trump– including CNN and the Daily Monster– can not be delighted.
Earlier on Sunday, the Daily Monster ran a hit piece on Boston sports fans, calling the city’s history one filled with racism. The piece cited as “proof” for the claim the fact that former Boston Celtics stars Kevin McHale and Larry Bird were white which Tom Brady, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and Patriots owner Bob Kraft are Trump fans, along with Tom Yawkey– the former Red Sox owner who did not racially incorporate the group until after the rest of Big league Baseball years earlier.
From the Daily Monster piece:
The entire organization of Boston sports, from root to stem, is tinged with the sort of racism that brought Trump into workplace. The Boston Red Sox were the last MLB team to desegregate, more than a years after Jackie Robinson got in the league. The Sox’s first owner, Tom Yawkey, was a notorious racist whose speech was peppered with racial slurs. Larry Bird became a sign of white bitterness during his time in the NBA, his jersey appearing as a sign of white privilege to black spaces in Spike Lee’sDo the Right ThingHis large teammate, Kevin McHale, was found at a Trump rally throughout the election.
But the Daily Monster was not alone in assaulting Brady, the Patriots, and Boston fans in general over Trump.
CNN on Saturday ran a piece calling the Patriots the “most disliked group of all time” in large part because of Trump:

Numerous others in media slammed Brady, Kraft, Belichick, or the Patriots in general over Trump:

According to the Daily Caller, President Trump wished the Patriots well in the Super Bowl ahead of time, saying: “I think they’ll do great.”
Trump and Brady have actually been close for several years. As Breitbart News has reported many times throughout the years, the media can not stand their friendship– consisting of Brady having had a red “Make America Great Again” hat in his locked during the 2016 governmental race. While Brady has actually been tight-lipped about politics, lots of suspect he is a Republican– and clearly a fan of Trump.
Brady even ran a play at one point throughout the Super Bowl, screaming “Reagan!” prior to the breeze to audible– sending out the play to the right, what appeared to be a tribute to the late President Ronald Reagan:
