Throughout Sunday’s “The Cats Roundtable” on New York AM 970, previous Home Speaker Amphibian Gingrich reacted to previous Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe revealing Deputy Lawyer General Rod Rosenstein carried out a push to eliminate President Donald Trump from office.
Gingrich called the plot “among the terrific scandals in American history.”
“[I] f you look at things like McCabe and this whole FBI thing, which is, I believe, one of the excellent scandals in American history,” Gingrich argued to host John Catsimatidis. “The entire concept that your most important law enforcement organization had individuals who were actively plotting in impact to overturn the chosen president of the United States. The more we hear from McCabe and Comey on this, the clearer it is that this was an agency that was so corrupt and so out of control that I think if Hillary Clinton had actually won, there is no informing what would have taken place to our flexibility.”
Gingrich included that his hope is new Lawyer General William Barr will look into how the FBI dealt with Hillary Clinton and her personnel.”
” I’m hoping that [Barr] is going to look very thoroughly at whatever returning to 2015 and the entire treatment of the Clintons and the treatment of the Clintons’ staff,” he stated. “I mean, all these various pieces out there, the more we discover about them the sicker they are. … If it is real, as McCabe and others recommend, that Rosenstein was associated with a severe discussion about whether to use the modification to remove the president’s authority, I don’t see any method you could avoid dismissing him.”
