President Donald Trump and First Girl Melania Trump welcomed visitors at the White Home to commemorate Hanukkah on Thursday, consisting of 8 Holocaust survivors.

Trump recalled the history behind the Hanukkah feast day, telling the story of the Maccabees that rebelled against tyranny and regained the temple.

He remembered the October shooting at a Jewish synagogue in Pittsburg, again acknowledging the victims and praised the churchgoers who stood versus the hate showed by the shooter.

Trump vowed to combat anti-Semitism all over in the world.
