President Donald Trump ripped Joe Biden on Monday, reminding Pennsylvania citizens that the former vice president abandoned them.
” Do not forget, Biden deserted you, he’s not from Pennsylvania, I think he was born here, but he left you, folks, he left you for another state,” Trump said, referring to Biden’s years as the chosen U.S. Senator of Delaware. Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and lived there 10 years with his household until they relocated to Delaware.
Trump mocked Biden for always speaking about being from Scranton and caring about the working class.
” He left you for another state and he didn’t take care of you because he didn’t look after your tasks,” he stated. “He let other nations come in and rip off America.”
The president talked about Biden throughout a rally in Pennsylvania on Monday after the former Vice President campaigned in Philadelphia on Saturday. Trump stated that it looked like Biden had just 150 people at his rally, comparing it to the 10s of thousands of supporters at his Monday night rally in Montoursville, Pennsylvania.
Trump also buffooned Biden for running as a leader of the world, not America first.
” Drowsy Joe said he is running to, quote, ‘save the world,’ Trump said. “He is going to save every country but ours.”
He remembered Biden saying that world leaders advised him to run for president after President Trump won in 2016.
” No wonder Joe Biden revealed he is running for president … he announced he is running for president since foreign leaders called him up and pled him to do it,” Trump stated, pointing out foreign leaders who were annoyed with his tough tariffs on China and other nations.
Trump reminded supporters in Pennsylvania that he ended the Trans-Pacific trade deal supported by Biden and the Obama administration which he renegotiated the North American Free Trade Arrangement.
” Foreign nations like it much better when they can press us around, rip us off, make us pay for the advantage to turn over our tasks and our wealth,” he said.
