President Donald Trump said the United States required more border security, throughout remarks to reporters on Christmas Day at the White House.

” The people of this country desire border security,” he said, requiring “a wall, a fence, whatever they want to call it.”

The president talked to reporters after calling the troops from the White Home on Christmas Day.

Although members of Congress left town for Christmas in spite of failing to pass an expense moneying the government, the president stayed at the White Home instead of going to Florida.

” I thought it would be wrong for me to be with my family,” he stated, explaining his choice. “I just didn’t want to decrease and exist when other individuals are harming, but it’s going to all work out.”

Trump said it was uncertain when Democrats would allow the federal government to resume.

” I can inform you it’s not going to be open until we have a wall, a fence, whatever they would like to call it,” he stated, requiring a barrier to protect the Southern border.

Trump praised existing building of replacement walls on the Southern border, assuring to check out the website in January.

” We’re almost having a groundbreaking, it’s such a big area,” Trump said.

He assured to keep battling for wall funding.

” It’s my intend to have this done, completed– all 500 to 550 miles– to have it either refurbished or brand name brand-new by election time,” he said.
