CNN anchor Don Lemon on Monday asked Ohio governor-turned-CNN commentator John Kasich if he was “puzzled” by the records of President Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president and after that went on to suggest that he’s a Trump “apologist.”
Lemon insisted that “anyone with half a brain” knows what Trump was stating to President Volodymyr Zelensky after checking out the records and called it “apparent.”
” Wait, wait, wait, you can’t say stuff like that,” Kasich responded. “You can’t state that.”
” John, did you read the records?” Lemon asked.
” Yeah, I check out the transcript,” Kasich responded.
” Well, were you puzzled by what it suggested?” Lemon shot back.

Kasich told Lemon that he “did not see a clear quid professional quo” but expressed his assistance for an investigation, however that obviously wasn’t sufficient for the CNN anchor.
” John, if you asked me to do something, if you said, ‘Don, I need something from you’ and I stated to you, ‘John, yes, however I need you to do me a favor however,’ what does that imply?” Lemon pressed Kasich.
The previous governor didn’t directly answer him.

Kasich, an outspoken Trump critic who never offered his recommendation during the 2016 election, alerted Lemon if impeachment does not receive any support from Republican lawmakers, it will “not help this country.”
