Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) required to Twitter Saturday night after Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized her for voting versus a $4.6 billion border bill signed by the president on Monday.

Ocasio-Cortez responded to the tweet that quoted Pelosi, lambasting her remarks. “That public ‘whatever’ is called public sentiment,” she composed. “And wielding the power to move it is how we really accomplish significant change in this country.”
